In the lesson we started to put together a dance for the start of the show and basically we got split up into groups and one group entered by climbing over the audiences chair's and the other group crawls from every direction of the stage we then cross over and begin the dance.
My theory is that i hope that we can get the dance going by Wednesday and hope that everyone knows what to do and that the dance will make the audience members feel a bit uneasy and that even though they might fell a bit sick i hope they enjoy it.
the exercise was that we had to think up a dance to this is Halloween the song from the film and put moves and ideas into the song then we would rehearse it and see if it worked if not we would put more ideas into it and hope the new idea worked.
I think so far the dance is going well and that by the end we will know what we are doing practice and practice it so that the dance goes well and that on the night the audience love it and that we will love doing it as well.
My conclusion is i hope that the dance goes well that we all know what we are doing and that the whole performance itself goes well for all of us and i hope that i can put loads of ideas into my work and the dance so that the performance is good with everyone's ideas as well.

Today in lesson we practiced our monologue so we could make it alot better and change only little things about it so for mine changing how i present it to the class and going to present it to the groups of four that come round and watch everybody performance but today Phillipa needed some help to start a monologue so me and her went outside the classroom and me and her practiced her monologue and she did quite well in my opinion.
My theory is that i don't know how my monologue is going if on the night it will be bad or if it will be good i just have to keep practicing and hope that it goes well and also im going to help Phillipa to boost her confidence and that she will be able to show it in front of the audience and show it to sir.
Our exercise was that we had to practice our monologue so we could get better and better so that they go well on the night in front of the audience and i hope that the audience like the performance that we are going to put on for them.
I really hope that the performance will go well and everybody's confidence will be fine and they will not be nervous well they can be a bit nervous but a hope we like it and the audience would love and they would feel a bit uneasy.
My conclusion is that i hope everybody's monologue's go well and that on the night all the audience will love the performance and feel a bit uneasy as well so bring on the performance and to everyone in the class lets do it perfect.

In the lesson sir showed us some clips on YouTube that showed a dark room and a man standing there and there were people were all around him and then we had our first production meeting on about what role each of us were going to take on for our self's like makeup,hair and props.
My theory is that i can't wait for our performance because we are getting all ready for our performance basically someone has already got their costume so their all ready i can not wait because all i want to do is make loads of people a bit uneasy.
Our exercise was to come up who was going to write minutes down and what jobs everybody was going to do then. Then after sir went all a round the people in the class and we told him how we were going to change our performance to make it a little bit better.
I think that i have to practice a bit more on my script and that i have to add more into it like maybe walk around but not to much because i don't want to ruin it i want to keep it the same with just tiny changes so i cant wait to the performance so that i can show how i have changed it.
i really want people to see what i have done with my monologue so that sir can see how i have changed it and to see if it is good enough and if not i will keep trying and trying until i get it right and how i like it.

My theory was that my performance could go any way it could go really wrong and i would forget all my lines or it would go really well and i would remember my lines and everyone would ask questions i also wanted everyone to fell a bit uneasy and a bit shaken.

In the lesson we started to practice our monologues so that i could show my monologue to my classmates so i practiced really hard because i had to learn all of it and i could not have any script so it was really hard so i will just keep practicing until i have to show it.
My theory was that practicing was going to be hard like remembering what i had to say so i just cant wait till Monday to see if the practicing has paid off and also i really can not wait to show my performance and see what my classmates think of it if they think it is a bit uneasy and makes them feel a bit awkward and want to ask questions.
Our exercise was that we had to practice our monologue so that we could now it off by heart so that we could show it to my classmates and hope they enjoy it also we had to tell sir what we wanted our characters to bring in this performance and tell him what we wanted to do.
I think that my performance will go really well and make people ask questions and make people think why is she like that oh and also make people feel uneasy and i just hope that it goes really well and that everyone will like it.

Wednesday-13th November 2013
In today's lesson we worked again on our performances but this time we thought about lighting and sound
so me and Philippa worked together and made my dream a performance so basically were i am walking down a path someone touches my shoulder and i land on the floor with a scream.
Our theory was to make the class feel uneasy and ask questions like what was it about? what happend to the girl? so me and Philippa wanted to make our classmates and teachers feel emotion for the girl and a bit scared of the hand that came from no were.
Our exercise was to re perform our dream but with lighting and sounds so we performed in front of the class and make them feel a bit sick my teacher said that he felt a bit sick and uneasy and the TA said it made her feel uneasy as well so me and Philippa were happy that our performance went well.
I think that this task was very good because i found it very scary and i actually felt like i had left school and that my dream had come true like i was actually walking down a dark path so for me it was good because even though i performed it i felt scared as well.
like i said in my last log i will really enjoy this section in drama because i like a bit of horror cant wait for Friday.

Today we learnt about Antonin Artaud his style is theatre of cruelty. He was born 1896 and died
1948. This form of theatre launches an attack on the audience subconscious in an attempt to release deep-rooted fears and anxieties that normally suppressed.
His Theory was to bring people's deepest fears and emphasising screams and cries making them feel a bit uneasy and feeling a bit sick so i makes people emotional.
At the start of the lesson sir was sat in the middle of the room he was sat all alone and one person in my class moved a chair and sir stood up and moved it back by this time i think all the class were thinking what is going on and then again someone moved the chair sir turned his head and shouted and said just to leave him alone and then the class got really worried and uneasy. At the end sir all spoke to us we just wanted it to stop. Our exercise was that we worked in three's and showed the class one of our dreams to make them feel uneasy and to think why has that happend?
At first when sir was sat on the floor i thought to myself what is he doing but then when he got up and he was silent and he moved the chair back to were it was i was quite scared i did not go near the classroom door at all i did not even go in the classroom and then when we did our dream i felt like my mum and dad had just left me it made me want to cry.
I think that im going to enjoy this style of drama because i like doing the scary performances so i think i will enjoy this and i cant wait to see what we are going to next.
