In lesson today we went into the computer room and we wrote up our evaluation so sir gave us some help sheets and we had to think what we had done over the past couple of weeks and then write about so our evaluation will be about the nightmare before Christmas and Antonin Artaud.
My theory is that i don't know what to write so i am just going to have to remember what we did and then write about it best i can so im hoping that write a really good evaluation explaining everything i did in the weeks before the performance.
Our exercise was to try and remember what we did these pass couple of weeks and then we had to do was write so many paragraphs about Antonin Artaud and about how he did the theater of cruelty and then we also have to write about the nightmare before Christmas.
My personal response is that i get a bit stuck but i think i will manage if sir is telling me some things and if i keep looking at help sheets and then i might just be able to write a really good evaluation showing sir that i understand what we did in those last couple of weeks.
The conclusion is i really hope sir likes my evaluation and that i understand what we have been doing these past couple of weeks and that i can show sir that i really can write a good evaluation and that it has lots of detail about what we have learnt.

Wednesday 11th of December 2013
At the start of the lesson sir talked to us about our performance and how we had done he read out some postcodes from the headteacher and they read how good we did and it also read that he really liked the performance. Then we watched the people's performance who could not be their on the night and then we went to see the other year 10's do their performance it was very good.
My theory was that i did not know how our performance was i guessed by the way everyone clapped and looked freaked out when we walked back into the staff room. so i think everyone loved because my family said it was good and i think all my classmates did well.
Our exercise was to watch our videos from our performances then sir had a talk with us and read out some postcards and they read we had done really well then we got all our coats and bags and went down to the hall and watched the other year 10's do their performance.
My personal response is that i was really happy when we got a postcard from the headteacher saying that we did very well and i thought that the other year 10 groups performance was really funny and exciting so i think both year 10 groups did amazing.
My conclusion is that im really excited. Cant wait to start on the next performance and well done to everyone in both year groups i think we did amazing on our performance because it was scary and the other group did well because their's was funny.

Our exercise was that we had to see what we were missing from our monologues so sir gave us a sheet and we had to tick how good or how bad we were at these skills that we could add in our performance and then we would practice our monologues and try to make the skills better that we had marked low.
My personal response is that i think i did quite well at finding what i was good at and what my performance lacked in i needed a little bit of help from sir so like he just told me what they meant but then i just had to mark myself out of 1 to 4.
My conclusion can not believe that is only one day till the performance i really hope that everybody is ready i hope the audience loves it and we all love it. Cant wait till tomorrow for the performance i really hope that we now all our lines and really hope we scare our audience.

In lesson today we practiced on realism and surrealism if thats how you say so sir got us to lay on our back's and breath calmly then get louder so it sounded like we were angry then he got us to scream to the ceiling so that it sounded like we were angry and something and we just wanted to scream. Then we said one line of our monologue and we had to whisper it shout and do different voice pitches.
My theory is that i don't know how my monologue is going to be on the night and if i can put all stuff sir has taught us into my performance because there is loads of stuff to remember like voice,emotion,sounds and screams.
Our exercise was that we had to go around saying one line of our monologue shouting whispering all types of different voice expressions and face expressions also then we had to practice our monologues again and again and sir would come round and tell us important things to do with our monologues so then we could change them and then see if we liked the idea.

Wednesday 4th of December 2013
In our lesson today we swapped teachers so we had Miss Husband and we showed her our monologues in order which i think everyone did very well and miss said at the end that she was really interested and didn't lose interest.
My theory is that i think that everybody's monologue went really well and the feedback miss gane was really good she said that she was drawn in straight away she loved the performance so im happy for all the group and know i just hope that on Tuesday the audience love it.
Our exercise was that we had to show miss our monologues and see if she liked it and also see if she felt sorry for the ones that had been either kidnapped or self harming and then with the others a bit uneasy a a bit frightened in a way.
My personal response is that i think everyone did well in their monologues and that everybody had the right emotion if that is how you say it a think everybody caught the audience in a way that would make them feel sick and uneasy.
My conclusion is that i just hope that everybody is ready for the performance that they have had loads of rehearsal because i have i hope that everybody is excited about it and cant wait to perform because i cant wait.

Me and Philippa had some help from a 6th former that came in and she helped me and Philippa concentrate on how to change our monologues so not just the piece of writing but how to say those lines and how to interact with the audience.
My theory is that the performance is next week i really hope that all my classmates and me are ready and if we are i really hope the audience likes it but also makes them feel uneasy and also makes them feel sorry for my part when i am asking them for help.

In lesson we rehearsed our monologues so that sir could recorded them so then we could look back at the videos what sir had taken and we could change anything that we did not think was right sir would then give us feedback of how we could change it so for me he said that I could pretend to show that he was there and a would scramble forward but then he would pull me back before the audience could reach out and grab me away from him.
My theory is that I dont know how I did on the video and I will have to wait till Monday to find out and then see what parts I need to change and how I could change them so when can I ask the audience questions and when can I try to get them to help me.
My exercise was to practise my monologue so that I could then get sir to video me then on Monday I could watch the video back and see what I had to change and what parts I should take out that maybe don't look so good I would then practise the changes and see if they worked.
My personal response is that I really excited about doing the performance and the dance and like I have said in every blog I really hope the audience will love and hate it at the same time so some bits will make them feel sick and others make them fell sorry for the character.

In lesson we rehearsed our monologues and also all the group have been thinking how they are going to change them to what they originally wrote so that means putting in light, sound and change any different parts in their monologue that they thought were not as good as what they have got know.
My theory is that I really don't know how my piece is going to go and if it will make the audience feel uncomfortable or not so I just really hope that my performance goes well and I really want to make people feel like they want to help me and not let me suffer from this evil person who in my monologue is keeping me prisoner.
My exercise given was to rehearse my monologue and change things in it so like asking the audience questions, shouting for help and screaming so basically making the audience feel sorry for me and making them like they want to help me.
