stereotype students

Monday 16th of June- Today miss stood in front of the class and told us that we could make a performance up or do some singing, dancing or something we had done in the lesson so that we could be apart of the drama showcase so we all decided if we wanted to do it not so me,Phillipa,Joe and Jeremy came up with an idea to make a play called stereotype students.

Wednesday 18th of June- Today me, Phillipa,Joe and Jeremy came up with a script and and stage directions and what we were all going to wear we started practicing what we were going to do and how we were going to put it together i cant wait to perform this piece because it will show that we as a group can come up with some really good ideas.

Coriolanus performance week

Monday 2nd of June- it was the week of the performance so all we were doing in the lesson was just going over and over the performance getting ready for Magna. i loved just running over the play because it was really fun just learning lines and understanding what to do.

Wednesday 4th of June- in the lesson we just went over the performance again and again i finally had learnt my lines so i remembered  and i was really happy that i had learnt my lines before Friday so i did the reversal with no script and just remembered my lines. again i just loved going over the performance because i really liked playing my character.

Friday 6th of June- today we went to Magna to perform act 5 of Coriolanus which was really fun, before the performance we had to do a tech rehearsal and a dress rehearsal which was really fun because we got to do the performance over and over again then at 6:00 our parents turned up and we performed in front of them. i think every person in that audience said they really enjoyed the show and could not believe their children had put on an amazing show.

Monday 12th of May 2014

On Monday karren came and again worked with us on Coriolanus we worked on the script because we needed to make the performance 15 minutes so she was cutting loads of parts and then she would tell us what bit she had cut and we would have to perform it to her. she then started to change the scenes so add bits to them so for example the stone throwing at the beginning she added were the volcian guards came and wounded the Romans.

then we just went through some of the scenes and she would show us what she wanted changing and what bits she had cut on the other scenes and then on our script we would have to put a cross through them so we knew what had been cut.

i really enjoyed it when karren came in because i felt like we all knew what we were doing and what parts karren had cut so i think we all did very well.

coriolanus tablaus from monday-friday 31-4


Monday- we were given some photos and we had to work in pairs and come up with word. i found this really and i learnt a lot about different emotions and how they change as the play goes on.

Friday- we had to make pictures of all the emotions and how they change in the pictures i have learnt about emotions and Shakespeare language.

introductory workshop with Karen

 When Karen came in she taught us everything about Coriolanus so for example stage fighting all different types of tableau were she would give us a topic for example Violence and we would have to do a still image of it we also did some play work so for example worked on the start of our scene for Coriolanus were we all throw stones and scream and shout and we run up in lines. We also worked on text speak and sir filmed us doing some text speak. At the start just to get us warmed up we played a game where we had to go in a circle and she would point at us and we would have to shout bob before she finished here sentence if not we had to sit down.

We then did some flocking and then right at the end we had to do some text speak but we also had to do a lift when Coriolanus had been killed I was in the lift so I don’t know how it looked until I looked at the photo on blogger but I truly enjoyed the whole day that we spent with Karen.

17/21- Karen and script editing and portfolio work 


Monday- in this lesson someone called Karen came in what i learnt from this lesson was how to show my angry side a i learnt a lot more about what Shakespeare language was like and also i learnt how to do different freeze frames. 

Wednesday- i learnt how to work on a script and delete different parts of a script and delete any part of the script and we had to get in down to specific minutes.

Friday- on Friday i learnt that i should be doing some more portfolio work and learnt that i can add anything and write about them so i am now going to do a lot of portfolio work.

all this week we have learnt the same thing...

Monday- i have learnt how to say some words from Shakespeare and have had a look at some different speeches that he has wrote and learnt his way of speaking.

Wednesday- We looked at more speeches and what i learnt from this was that they speak very different to what we do know they miss some letters out and say words like hath and so many more so what i have learnt from this is Shakespeare's language.

Friday- Sir gave the boys Hamlet and the girls Othilia and we had to come up with ideas to make a performance so what I learnt from this was that we all had to work as a group and also learnt a lot about all of Shakespeare's play's

Friday 14th of February 2014 

In the lesson today we were practicing our performances because we were showing them today i think we needed a bit of help on ideas but in the end our performance looked really good and so did everybody else  put loads of ideas into it.

My theory was that i did not know if we were going to be ready to show our performance and everybody else would show theirs but we got there so i was really happy because i think it went really well and that everyone in my group did well to get some ideas.

Our exercise was that we had 10 minutes to finish our performances so that we could show them to the class we had a bit of trouble but it would not be the same without it so i was really happy that we got done in time so then we could show it.

My personal response is that i really enjoyed the lesson i would really like to do it again and maybe work a bit more on it but for now i think all of them were great performances and all the people who were in each group but a load of effort in and it looked really good.

My conclusion is that i really loved the lesson hoped everyone liked the each other's performance and i cant wait till Monday to see what we are doing i think we are doing some port folio work but i still like doing that so i really can not wait.

Wednesday the 12th of February 2014 

In the lesson today we only had a few minutes to come up with ideas for a performance about the Hillsborough disaster and we had to do it on a different type of staging so sir put us in groups and gave us a stage to work on we then came up with ideas for the performance. 

My theory is that i think we were struggling with ideas so miss put our stage on the board and we drew where we were going to stand we then had to leave to watch a road safety performance so i am going to tell you what we have learnt so far.

Also the road safety performance was very good there was one man who was actually sending the message out about being careful near a road but then there was another man who was making funny so i really enjoyed and hoped it made the children from the other schools laugh.

Monday 10th of February 2014

in the lesson we were learning about all different types of staging and also about the Hillsborough disaster and we did a couple of exercises were we would have to go were ever miss told us for example stage left or stage right and lots more.

My theory is that i did not know were some of them was but some of them were pretty easy and and by the end i really understood what they were so i was looking forward to what would happen next because i really understood the topic.

Our exercise was that we had to listen for miss shouting things like stage right and stage left and then we would have to go to that place in of the stage but we were marking it on the classroom floor and we all got a couple wrong but i found it fun.

My personal response is that I found the lesson challenging and fun at the same time because i have really learned something from that part of the lesson and found it fun as well so i did really enjoy it and would like to maybe do it again but with another topic.

My conclusion is that i really enjoyed the whole lesson because i learnt all the different types of staging for example in the round and i learnt what the spaces were called on the stage for example stage left and stage right so i really learnt alot.

Friday 7th of February 2014 

in the lesson today we had a couple of minutes to rehearse out performance and then the whole class would have to show their performance i was a bit nervous and hoping everyone would remember the things that we had rehearsed.

My theory is that i really did not know how this performance would because even though we had good ideas in my mind i think we were still struggling a bit but actually it went really but there was a bit of a problem with the counting so some bits did go wrong.

Our Exercise was that we had to show our performances to the class and then we would watch theirs so today was really fun but the past few days have been hard i would say that we just needed a bit more time but it looks alright so it was really fun.

My personal response is that really liked the lesson found it hard in some places but its drama and you have to learn alot can not wait for Monday because i want to find out what we are doing so i just really hope that we can do this again some other time.

My conclusion is that found it hard but it got easier as we did it so like i said above really liked the lesson and i would really like to do it again but maybe with another group so that i would maybe do something a bit different than horror.

In the lesson today we were set a task to work in a group and we had to come up with a performance but we had to pick a mask and then we had to show that emotion also we had to come with ideas my group came up with a haunted house we picked masks that were scared, angry, scary and dumb and i found this really fun.

My theory is that at first i did not know what to do but then my group came up with this really good idea i we had to then think of what masks, what music and how we should do it miss helped us do somethings like always look at the audience and sir stuck a post it note on the wall and that really helped.

Our exercise was that we had to come up with ideas for a trestle mask performance and basically we came with a haunted house so we had to pick all the mask that would be appropriate for that performance then we had to pick music which was hard because there was alot to pick from.

My personal response is that i found this lesson easy and hard at the same time easy because really loved the idea that we came up with hard because we had to think of everything that went with hard and we had to keep looking forward. 

My conclusion really hope that Friday's lesson goes well and we all remember what we had done hope that everybody enjoys it and i hope that we can all remember to face the front otherwise we will break the illusion and then people wont believe it.

Monday the 3rd of February 2014

In the lesson today we were learning about trestle masks and we had to learn everything about so miss stood up and gave a big presentation on them and gave us a few tasks to do the end task was that we all had to get a mask and they all had different emotions and we had to show them emotions with our body.

My theory is that at first i did not know what to do and i think my confidence was not very high but then after a while my confidence grew and i understood it alot so i will be happy when Wednesday and Friday because then i will know what to do.

Our Exercise was that miss showed us a presentation about trestle masks and then she would give us some tasks and we would have to do them when we got the mask on we had to do whatever the emotion was but we had to show it in our body not our face because we had a mask on and it would have broke the illusion.

My personal response is that i really enjoyed the lesson and the masks were amazing but hard at the same time because we had to look forward all the time otherwise it would break the illusion and people would not believe our performance.

My conclusion is that i would really like to do something like this again but it is really hard to see throught the eye holes and keep your face looking forward so if we were doing again i would have to work on keeping my head forward and trying to see through the eye holes.

Friday 31st of January 2014

In the lesson today again we were working on our picture stories but today we started to make a little performance but very different we had to narrate for e.g. Amber is going to the shop but amber herself would say it.

My theory is that i really did not know how were going to make our short story into a play because we did need alot of help at first but by the end sir had given us ways of how to perform it so then we came with some really good ideas.

Our exercise was that we had to make a performance out of the short story we had made on Monday add in the freeze frames from Wednesday and then turn it into a performance and then show it to the group and then the other groups would then show their's.

My personal response is that i really liked making the performance because i think we all came up with some good ideas for what our performance was going to look like and we also had to think of all the emotions that everyone of the people in the short were feeling at different times in the story.

My conclusion is i would really love to do something like this again because i found it very creative because we had to think up our own short story's then freeze frames and then put that all together and make a performance so i would really like to do this again.

Wednesday 29th of January 2014

In the lesson today we worked on the same thing as Monday but today we worked on doing freeze frames of our story's so we had to read each of our chapters and work on a freeze so maybe do someone in a car and a farther and daughter.

My theory is that i really did not know how this was going to work but when we had a lot help we then i then realised what i was meant to be doing so we then started the first freeze frame then the second and then the third i think we did really well with the freeze frames.

Our exercise was that after Monday lesson we had to come up with one freeze frame for each chapter of our short story we based the freeze frames on the most important bit in each chapter but then today we got another person in our group so it was easy to do the freeze frames because we had more people.

My personal response is that i really enjoyed the lesson and making up frezze frames was fun because we all had to think of what the most important part in all of them and i really enjoyed working with Emily and Philippa i think we work well together.

My conclusion just the same as the personal response is that i really hope we can do this again and i really cant wait for Friday because i want to find out what we are doing so really cant wait to find out what we are doing next.

Monday 27th of January 2014 

in the lesson today we had to look at some photos and we had to look at that photo and come up with descriptive words that would show what that person was like then we would have to come up with a short story it had to have three chapters of what we thought had happend.

My theory is that at first i really did not understand but to say that i did not understand i think me and Emily really thought what the picture was about and me and her together made a really good story about what we thought had happend to this man on the picture that we had picked.

Our exercise was to pick a photo then come up with words that we thought described the picture then come up with three chapters what we thought might of made him like that me and Emily came up with that him and his wife had an argument and the wife kidnapped the daughter.

My personal response is that i really liked coming up with a story because i think me and Emily really want the emotion to come out and also i want everyone to feel sorry for the man and really get interested in the performance that we may be doing and that they keep interested the whole way through.

My conclusion is that i really enjoyed this lesson whilst some bits were a bit hard to understand other were quite easy so after a while me and Emily really understood what we were doing and came up with a really good short story about how this man was feeling and how it got this way.

Friday 24th of January 2014 

PERFORMANCE DAY!!!!  i am really enjoyed showing our performance to everyone and everybody had a good giggle but at the same time everybody guessed the objectives and believed in our characters so that is a performance well done.

My theory is when we were picked to go first i did not know how everyone would react but they all seemed to enjoy and we got some good feed back so i was really happy to get to the end. and also i think ive boosted by confidence a bit more.

Our exercise was to show our performances and we were picked to go first i didn't mind i  think at first i was a bit nervous at first but then when we actually started my nerves went away and i just enjoyed myself and i hope the two boys i was working with did as well.

My personal response i would really love to do something like that again because i love coming up with performance ideas and working with different people so i would be a very happy girl if we did that again so im just really glad everybody enjoyed it.

My conclusion loved the lesson best lesson out of all of them this week its just because i love performing sometimes yes i do get a bit nervous but i just got to get on the it and not let my nerves get the better of me and i really liked the performance.

Wednesday 22nd of January 2014

in the lesson today we carried on with the script but today we gained another person so this is going to be a funny performance and different for me because i have not worked with Luke and Josh so this is going to be a very funny performance can't wait till Friday.

My theory is that i don't know what the groups reaction will be when they are watching it but all i hope is that they enjoy it it keeps them entertained and they believe in the objectives and that they can realise the objectives straight away.

Our exercise was that we had carry on with what we were doing on Monday which was getting ideas for a performance but today we were putting those ideas into a performance and practicing it over and over again so we got it in to our heads so we knew what we were doing on Friday.

My personal response is that i really liked what we were coming up with just hope that on the day make it a bit less horrible just kidding and i really hope that miss and the rest of the group have a good giggle but believe it at the same time.

My conclusion is just as i have said before hope the group loves it and i really hope we can do this in the lesson some other time as well because i really like performing so really hope we can do it again and try working with someone else because i really am enjoying it.

Monday 20th of January 2014

in lesson today we went in and we had a talk about of of the drama practitioner and miss was stood at the front telling us some facts and we had to write these notes down in a book. And then miss gave us a script and we had to use that script to make a performance but it had to be real life.

My theory was that at first i did not understand what making our performances real life i just thought that all performances were real but then she explained and it was like something to do with all day to day things so we then picked the person we wanted to do the performance with then we had to think up ideas.

Our exercise was we were given i script and we had to come up with ideas of thing from day to day life so i was paired with Luke and we were given some ideas by miss but she said we could do our own but it had to believable and real.

My personal reponse is that really enjoyed working with someone different for a change because i thought we came up with some good ideas but we just had a couple so had to think of some more obviously so on Wednesday we will think of some more i hope.

My conclusion really loved the lesson today really like working with someone diffrent and hope we get more ideas on Wednesday because i really think it will go well and that me and Luke are a good pair and that me and him have really good ideas.

Friday 17th of January 2014

in the lesson today the people who did not show their warm-ups showed them today so when it was my turn i got everyone in a circle and i made them copy what i was doing so my warm-up was stretching so we started with arms then legs then tummy.

My theory is that i don't know how everybody reacted to my warm-up i hope everybody liked doing my warm-up and that everybody felt relaxed afterwards and ready to do some drama because i really liked showing them how to do the stretches and making everyone feel relaxed. 

Our exercise was that we had to show our warm-ups and i got everyone to go in a circle and do different stretches and we stared with arms then legs then tummy and i really hope that all the class really enjoyed my warm-up and it helped them become relaxed.

My personal response is just what i said in my last blog that i really enjoyed the lesson especially the bit were i did my warm-up because my was different stretches so i will say it again i really hoped that everyone enjoyed it. 

My conclusion is that i hope that we do something like this again in a lesson i like making up warm-ups and then showing them to people and it is also helping me to boost my confidence to show more performances and warm-ups.

In the lesson today we carried on working on our warm-up some of the group showed their warm-up and i thought they were very good and they all make me get into a creative mood and i really enjoyed all the warm-up's and i think everybody had great ideas.

My theory is that i don't know how my warm-up will be and how people will feel afterwards i really hope that people with feel relaxed afterwards and really feel warmed up and ready to do some drama even though it may just be a short warm-up but i hope everyone enjoys it.

Our exercise was that we had to make up our own warm and today some of the class showed their warm-up and we had to do them so then at the end we would feel relaxed and then before every drama session we would maybe want to do a warm up of our choice.

My personal response is that i really liked the lesson and everyone had really good ideas for what they could do and i really liked they they had the courage to show their warm-up because i was a bit nervous to show mine today so i will do my on the Friday.

My conclusion is that i really liked the lesson today i cant wait till Friday because now some people have done theirs i have a bit of confidence to show mine and i really hope people like it and really feel relaxed and ready to learn.

Monday 13th of January 2014

In the lesson we were put in into groups and what we had to do was come up with ideas of what we could do to make our own warm-up so when it was finished we could show it to the rest of the group so we looked in books to help us with some ideas.

My theory is that i did not really know what to put in my warm up i only had two ideas for my warm so i don't really know what im going to do on Wednesday or Friday so i just really hope i think up some good ideas for then.

Our exercise was to come up with ideas to make our own warm-up so we had to go into pairs and think up ideas so we went into pairs and we talked about what we would add in i came up with two things to put in it so i really hope that i can think of a couple more things to put in it.

My personal response is that i really liked thinking up ideas for my own warm-up i really like thinking up of a warm-up myself but all i need to do think up some really good ideas and then i hope that everybody likes my warm-up and everybody feels nice and relaxed after it.

I just really hope i can think up some ideas ready for Wednesday or Friday and hope that everybody likes my warm-up and i hope i really enjoy making up this warm-up so i can do it myself but make everybody else feels relaxed after my warm-up.

Friday the 10th of January 2014

in today's lesson we had to show the people who were not here on the Wednesday our performances of what we had learnt when they were not here so the eight of us were split into two groups of four and together we had to pick a prop out of 4 or 5 props and my group picked the picture frame and then we had a while to go through it and then we showed it to the people who were not there.

My theory is that i really did not know how our performance would go and i really hope the people who were not here really enjoyed both pieces of our DV8 work and then we went and watched their performance and i found them very good to say they had missed a lesson on it.

Our exercise was to think up a performance and then show it to the rest of the group we also had to keep in touch with the prop which my group picked the picture frame so we put a really good idea to the picture frame so we did something like we augured about wanting the picture frame.

My personal response is that i really enjoyed the performance i thought it was really good that we came up with the idea about what to do with the picture frame and i really hope everybody in my group of four enjoyed doing the performance i would really like to do something like that again. 

I just wanted to say i really liked the performance i know ive already said this but  i really liked the performance and i would really like to do it again and i really hope that the rest of my group would love to something like that again.

Wednesday the 8th of January 2014 

in lesson today it was really fun there was only eight of us so we did something that i say is fun we first had to balance some spaghetti on our fingers and not drop this was a really fun exercise then we had to move with one bit of our body touching and we could not let go.

My theory is that i did not know if i would like this exercise but it turns out i really did enjoy it especially when our spaghetti snap that was so funny and when it kept bending we had to keep walking around so it did not snap again.

Our exercise was that we had to move around the room and had to hold this strip of spaghetti on our fingers,hands,feet or foreheads we would then take the spaghetti off and just pretend there was a piece of spaghetti and we had to keep the same distance apart.

My personal response was that i really enjoyed today's for more than one reason one of them because we got to watch these videos of production componey and they produced things that id say were a bit weird but really interesting how they kept one bit of their body touching all the time.

My conclusion is that i really enjoyed this lesson because there were less of us so it was nice just to do different things but on Friday we do have to teach it to all the rest of the group that were not here today so im going to do a presentation to show them what it is about.

Monday the 6th of January 2014

in the lesson today we were in the library writing up our portfolios miss husband showed us what we had to do then we would get up blogger in my case and we and to write up what we had done what target audience and so and so.

My theory is that i did not understand at first what i was meant to be doing but i asked the teachers and they gave me some ideas of what to do and how to find them miss showed me how i could set my work out and she showed this really good document that has helped me alot.

Our exercise was that we had to write up what we had done so far so we had done the water station and the nightmare before Christmas so our had to do one for each and tell the teacher what our aim was, who the target audience were and lots more.

My personal response is that i really liked this lesson because i could catch up on everything and i really understood once the teacher had told me were i could get my help from and then after that the ideas just came into my head and i could write alot.

My conclusion is this lesson was really good i have now found out how i can access from home so i can also do my drama work at home when i have time this will really help me because if i get stuck i can go to school the next morning and ask a drama teacher.

Friday 20th of December 2013 

In the lesson we came in and started practicing our performances sir had all ready told us we were going to have a party today and he told us we were going to show our performances to the other group of year 10's after we had finished practicing.

My theory is that i really hope the other year 10's liked our performance and that they understand the whole concept of the play and what it is about and i really hope that afterwards they say that was really good because i think all of us from both groups have worked really hard.

Our exercise was that we had to show our performance that we had been doing over the past two days and then when both groups had showed their performances we then because it was the last had a party and we played some drama games the one we played was park bench then one of the teachers kindly brought in some buns.

My personal response to this lesson was i really enjoyed performing our plays and i really loved the park bench it was really funny never laughed so much in my life i think everyone thought of some funny stuff to do to each other so it was a really good lesson.

My conclusion is like i said in my personal response is that i really loved today's lesson especially the performing and i really hope it is this fun after Christmas i really cant wait to get back and do some more performing.

Wednesday the 18th of December 2013

In the lesson we had to practice our plays again i must say out groups performance does look really good out ideas are coming together fast and we got loads of time to keep going over it and over it so im really excited and cant wait to show the rest of my class mates.

My theory is that i don't know if the other group will like it im sure they will and im sure we will like theirs i have glanced over a couple of times and it looks and sounds very good so i really hope our performance goes well.

Our exercise was that we had to practice our performance so that we could show our performance to the rest of the group so me and my group practiced alot so some of us knew our lines me on the other hand i found it a bit hard to practice my lines but i got there in the end.

My personal response is that i really hoped the other half of the classmates really enjoyed the performance because i enjoyed their performance so i think that our idea and their ideas were all good and i hope that sir enjoyed our performance and enjoyed our ideas.

My conclusion is that i hope everyone enjoyed the performances and i really want to do something like this again were we can make up our own stage directions and our own names because i do like just reading from the scripts but i do like it when we can think of our own stage directions and ideas.

Monday the 16th of December 2013  

in the lesson sir gave us a script that had no stage direction and no character names and then we would have to read through the scripts and see what type of play it was then we had to guess were the performance was set and think if it was funny.scary or romantic and we all guessed that it was a scary performance.

My theory was that i did not know at first what the play was going to be about then when i read about it and then realised that it was a scary play and that we would have to work out were it was set and then we also had to pick our character names but that was not the most important bit.

Our exercise was we were given a play with no stage directions and no character names so my group (because we were split into two groups) found out that it was a scary play and then we had a great idea of one of us being an detective type thing and all the rest of use were his thoughts.

My personal response is that i really liked were we had to find out what the play was about and that we could make our own ideas up and make it still based around the play but make our own characters and make our own stage directions up about the play.

I really liked today lesson because i really liked that we had to understand what the play was and we had to think up our own ideas and character names and i cant wait till the next lesson because sir says that we are going to practice them again.

My Evaluation for Nightmare before Christmas

Evaluation

When we started our practical we first all watched the nightmare before Christmas DVD then when we came back after half term sir showed us Antonin artaud and he does theatre of cruelty which means he wanted his audience to feel different emotion so like fell uneasy and sometimes feel sick and sad. My initial response was that he was a very weird person but very clever at the same because I can’t believe that just his performances would make people feel like that and make them fell ill and upset for some characters but others feel hate towards them. Sir then showed us what the A level students had done and how we could take some of those ideas and put them in our performances.
Our teacher then asked us to pick a character that we would wanted to play in the performance. We then went on the computer and thought up some really good ideas for monologues based on that character so if they were scary or if they needed help we would have to realise their emotion and then come up with ideas for ourselves. So on mine I had to make my character look and sound really upset and lonely because in the DVD she was a bit of a lonely character.
Then the week after we had been practicing our monologues over the weekend and then we showed the monologues to the whole class and we took it in turns they were the first monologue that we had written because then we have changed it over the weeks.
We changed our monologues by adding questions so we that we would be involving the audience then we could also change it by adding pauses so it makes more tension then we could also put lighting and sound.
Then sir showed us some more videos of other people who had done Antonin Artaud style and we took some ideas of how we could say our lines and how we can express our emotion so that the audience feel our emotion and feel sorry for the characters that are sad and feel scared and uneasy of the characters that were scary.
Then the rest of the time we had we were practicing for the performance day but in between sir would show us our videos that sir had taken of us but we just kept practicing for the performance and i think the performance went really well and everyone remembered their lines.

 Brief & initial response

Project: The Water Station

Aim: Our aim was to act like people who had to evacuate their homes because their houses have been blown up so we had to pick our characters and take it in turns to walk down slow and in any position we want to then when we see the water we would go and have a big drink before we had to move on.

Target Audience: Our target audience was teenagers and young and old adults.

Venue: Our Venue was in our school hall.

Style of Performance: Physical act of training

Lighting requirements: In the water station we just had the hall stage lights

Sound requirements: The sound we had was the sound of water

Costume: My costume was a kimono and I wore plain black shoes and I had an umbrella the girls makeup was white face and just a little bit of lipstick on the middle of our lips the boys makeup was black marks on their face girls hair was up in a bun or pony tail.

Set/Props: My prop was a parasol and all the other props were a cup, flask, chain, parasol, telescope and shoe





























My brief and initial reponse for the water station is that when sir first introduced us to ota shoga the person who wrote the play. so we started of by doing alot of warm ups called Tai Chi, Yoga and Kallarippayattu we would have to get ourselves warm up because is was a very pysical peice and we
also had to get ourselves into the chracter and concentrate on our breathing so breath in through our nose and out of our mouth.
